Designer Mindy Lam was honored and thrilled when she heard the National Kidney Foundation Serving the National Capital Area, was spotlighting her story and journey of being a kidney disease survivor and transplant recipient. As a jewelry designer with an active philanthropic focus, she wanted to not only create beautiful, classic pieces of jewelry to continue the conversation of kidney disease awareness, but also create a program that supports the organization in a major way.
She adopted the NKF colors and designed a special version of several pieces of jewelry in her existing collection that can be worn by men, women, and children. She also brought back the original pricing from when she first began almost 20 years ago. The pieces include earrings, small, and x-small for young girls, a charm for a necklace (not included), and a unisex lapel pin.
