In the heart of a sprawling rose garden, where the air was always thick with the sweet scent of blooms, a grasshopper found his home. Their petals, in shades of magenta and red, stood out like little bursts of fire against the endless green. To the grasshopper, this was no ordinary garden; it was a sanctuary, a place where time itself seemed to pause. 

Their scent carried memories of his younger days, hopping through these same meadows when everything felt endless and untouched by time. Back then, the roses were his safe haven, a place where he could rest and feel the world’s gentle embrace.

As the days grew cooler and the wildflowers began to fade, the roses, too, began to close their blooms. Their petals loosened, drifting to the ground with each passing breeze. Yet, even as the meadows turned golden and the roses shed their last blossoms, the grasshopper remained grateful.

Even in the coldest days of winter, when the rose bushes stood bare and silent, the grasshopper could close his eyes and feel their warmth. The garden might change with the seasons, but for him, the roses were eternal. Their embrace, their beauty, and the joy they brought him would always remain, untouched by the passage of time. Their presence lingered, etched into his soul. For him, the roses will never be truly gone. 

In their embrace, they had left behind a love that would outlast every season—a gift that no frost could ever take away. And as he sat quietly in the bare garden, waiting for spring, he smiled to himself, knowing that the roses would bloom again—not just in the garden, but in his memories, where they would forever be in full bloom.

The jeweled grasshopper is a vintage by Ciner, holding on to Mindy Lam Classic crystal roses. The scene is filled with green garnet, rose quartz, vintage foliage, crystal leaves, pearls and floating rhinestones. The lapel pin is rooted in a black crystal drop framed by a ring of rhinestone and pearl. All finished with 14kt gold-filled wires.
